When POS receives a response from Liquid Barcodes, it may be necessary to update the transaction and total amount with new rebate lines.
Replace general rebate
Liquid Barcodes will highlight changes made to the transaction, such as adding a personal rebate and possibly removing the general rebate. Liquid Barcodes will only remove a general rebate if it can be replaced by a personal rebate that gives customers a lower total amount to pay.
POS can now proceed to payment. The shopper pays any remaining amount.
